The Almeras brothers are part of Porsche's competitive history. Their Carrera, 934 and other cars are well etched in the memory of enthusiasts. Both in rallies and on the track, the Almeras managed to conquer the top of the world's motorsport, achieving numerous victories of absolute level. Their presence in the gotha of Porsche trainers along with Kremer, Meznarie, Orlando, Joest and others, is out of the question. But the Almeras have also proposed very special elaborations for road use over the years. This is the case of the 993 GT1, a transformation with a bodywork that closely resembles (with or without a rear wing) the 911 GT1 of the late nineties that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
